Fear of Old Age

Many people fear old age. They are uncertain about the future, because they anticipate mental and physical deterioration as the years advance. What they think and feel comes to pass.

You grow old when you lose interest in life, when you cease to dream, to hunger after new truths, and to search for new worlds to conquer. When your mind is open to new ideas and new interests and when you raise the curtain and let in the sunshine and inspiration of new truths of life and universe, you will be young and vital.

Sowing Seeds

Many people live in apartments or small homes with no yard space for a garden plot. Others live in dry regions where the soil is barren. Some feel that they do not have the time or financial means to grow their own food. Yet with faith, diligence, patience and a little creativity, anyone can succeed in gardening. There is a worldwide crisis all over the world, so we need to be creative, by planting vegetables will help us to budget our money wisely and also vegetables it is good for our body it's healthy. We need to plant a garden were right in your own home. We can plant vegetables in used containers-anything from laundry soap containers to kitty litter buckets. We will be amazed at the amount of food could produce in the small containers. We can used boxes, buckets, bottles, and other containers can be used to turn small spaces into productive gardens. I love the challenge of container gardening.

The Birth

The birth experience itself is influential, very detailed birth memories can be retrieved, and the more traumatic the birth experience, the higher the correlation with physiological and psychological problems, including serious disorders such as schizophrenia and psychosis. Again, the mother's attitude in determining the character of the birth. The vital factors in predicting the ease and speed of labor are the mother's attitudes toward motherhood, her relations to her own mother, and the presence of habitual worries, fears, and anxieties going beyond normal apprehension.Along with these, women trapped in an unsatisfying relationship fall into the high- risk category. Many problems associated with birth trauma can be prevented or reduced by increased understanding and sensitivity on the part of health professionals and by the parent's choice of two delivers the baby and of a humane and comfortable birth method and location.

Enjoy The " Now"

Many of us experience on our journey through life is the inability to allow ourselves to be happy or satisfied in the "now." For example, when we're in grade school, we can hardly wait until we're in junior high school. Then we're in junior high and can't wait until we're in high school. In our early teens, we can hardly wait to be 16 so we can drive a car. Then we're waiting to graduate from high school, to leave home, then get married, etc. We seldom, if ever, are able to be satisfied and content enjoying the here and now. We don't seem to know how to stop along the way and smell the roses. And in some cultures we can't enjoy, or we think we're not supposed to enjoy life until we are perfect. Why is it that so many people think that we can't enjoy life to it's fullest until we have arrived at our destination.

If we can realize and recognize that the growth process is something to be savored and relished along the way- that enjoying the challenges of the now and seeing the positive aspects they bring to our life as we experience them- our existence can be so much more rewarding. Our Be-ing is developing and it is necessary to have these kinds of experiences in order to accomplish our growth.

How Facebook Started

I just came across amusing story on how Facebook started.Apparently, it started when facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was a student in Harvard. One night he had a crazy idea, and he broke into the school computers and basically got pictures, and details of the students there. He then used the data to build a website called Facemash. Basically, what it did was it put the faces of two classmates in the site, then asked people to vote for who had a more attractive face. This was in 2003, which kind of reminds us how the new Facebook is.Obviously some students, mostly women, protested and the school had to shut down the website, and charged Mark with violating copyright and security policies. This was probably how facebook's seeds got sown.

GOALS

When we remember that life is a process, it helps us put our goal-setting in perspective. The purpose of setting goals is to give us a temporary structure in which to operate. Unfortunately, when we begin to believe that the structure is solid and real, we lose touch with the process of getting there. This is why we often feel so depressed and let down when we reach our goals. We have not let ourselves enjoy the experience of the journey, and when we reach the end, we have missed the journey.
Being in the present allows us to experience the journey and to respond to the process of the journey. When we operate this way, we see that all goals are just temporary ideas that change as we draw near to them.

Prevent Accidents Involving Electricity

Electricity that lights our homes and make us comfortable can also be a source of fatal accidents. The following can help reduce related accidents:
. Never operate and handle electric appliances when your feet are wet when standing on a wet floor.
.Keep electric appliances away from areas that are always wet ( bathroom, laundry).Never use it there either.
. Have your writing installation checked at least once every five years by an approved contractor, or straightaway if you are buying an older property.
Never overload an electric socket.
. Install outlet covers when you have children at home.
